Sony announced the Xperia go back in May, that went on sale in India in July. The Xperia go is a durable Smartphone which is dust and water proof. It was running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) at the launch, but it received the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update few months back. Sony Mobile has also promised Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the device, which is expected next year. Let's get into the complete review and see how rugged it is. Hardware The Xperia go has superior build quality to withstand some heavy torture. Even though it is plastic, the hard body of the phone feels rough in the hand, which makes it easy to hold and preventing it from slipping. The 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) Reality Display is of course better than the entry-level Xperia tipo that we reviewed recently. The display is scratch resistant with anti-reflection coating on mineral glass. It has Reality display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine that enhances the image and video quality. Lava Iris N400, Lava's new Dual SIM Android smartphone in the Iris range is now available from online retailers Flipkart and Snapdeal. Unlike the Iris N320 and N350 that was launched recently, the N400 comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has 3G support. It has a 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calling.  It has Dual SIM support similar to the Iris smartphones. Sony has announced that they have extended the agreement with Box to offer 50GB of free storage for Xperia smartphones and tablets till the end of 2013. Last December Sony teamed up with Box to offer 50GB of free file sharing and storage on Box for the Xperia range of Android smartphones and tablets. This would offer 50GB of Box storage for life for Xperia Smartphones and tablets just by signing-up or accessing existing Box accounts from the  devices using the Android app. Box lets you easily store files online, view, edit, share and manage files on your Android phone or tablet, and collaborate with others. You can also save content directly to Box from more than 50+ compatible apps. Samsung detailed Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) Premium Suite features for the Galaxy S3 last week. Now, Samsung has revealed more Premium Suite features for the device. These include, Paper Artist, Camera features such as Low Light Shot and Best Face, Accessibility features such as Easy Mode, Sound Balance, Setup Wizard and Camera Easy Snap. Most of these features are already available in the Note 2 and the Galaxy Camera. The Paper Artist that enables you to add effects to images or capture the photo with effects. The camera features include, Low Light Shot that lets you capture images even in places with low light. Other camera feature include Best Face that captures 5 consecutive pictures and lets you choose the best face for each person among those shots. This would be much helpful to find the photo with correct expression. The Accessibility features such as Easy Mode lets you set up the most five frequently used widgets on the home screen, Sound Balance to adjust volume one each side of earphones, Setup Wizard to get to the accessibility menu right away on the screen and the Camera Easy Snap that tells you how many faces it can detect on the camera preview. LG has announced that they have sold over 10 million units of Optimus L-Series smartphones globally. The Optimus L-Series Smartphones include, Optimus L3 that has a 3.2-inch display, Optimus L5 with a 4.0-inch (320×480 pixels), Optimus L7 with a 4.3 inch (480 x 800 pixels ) display and the Optimus L9 that has a 4.7-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display. LG announced the Optimus L3, L5 and L7 at MWC 2012 that was launched in India in May starting from the Optimus L3. It took 9 months for LG to achieve this feat starting from the Optimus L3 that went of sale in Europe in March. LG has also introduced Optimus L3 Dual and the Optimus L5 Dual with Dual SIM support earlier this year. The LG Optimus L9 was the latest L-Series smartphone to launch in India. LG also brought QuickMemo feature and QTranslator for the Optimus L-Series smartphones.
