Karbonn A29 with 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, Android 4.1 now available for Rs. 8990

 Karbonn A29, a new Android smartphone is now available from online retailer Saholic. It has a 4.7-inch (960 × 540 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 2000 mAh battery, but no details about the RAM yet. It has 3G data connectivity and Dual SIM support with dual standby. Wish it had a quad-core processor since most of the competitors offer a quad-core processor in this price range. M.WIZ app for iOS lets you build your own mobile website

 M.WIZ is a mobile website building toolkit for iPhone and iPad. This , where all you create build your own mobile webpages and HTML file of the page. All need to do is drag and drop things from the list of elements such as header, footer, buttons and more. It also offers live previews that would let you make the changes easily and store templates for multiple websites. Once you finish creating you can save the template as a HTML file. It looks fine on iPhone, but looks stretched on the iPad. There is also a black bar on the right side in the landscape view. Hope developers would fix these issues. Sony offers Rs. 5000 discount on Xperia Z or ZL in exchange for old smartphones

 Sony Mobile India has started their big Xperia Xchange offer assured Rs. 5000 discount on the Xperia Z or ZL in  exchange your old smartphones. Samsung launched a similar Smart upgrade offer for the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S4. Sony launched the Xperia Z and the ZL in India earlier this year. Both these phones have a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Reality display, powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Xperia Z comes with  IP55 and IP57 ratings for dust and water resistance and the Xperia ZL lacks the feature. The Xperia Z and ZL are priced at Rs. 38,790 and Rs. 35,690, so need to pay just Rs. 33,790 and Rs. 30,690 after Rs. 5,000 discount upon exchange. Sony also offers 12 months or 6 months EMI offers on select (Citibank, HDFC and ICICI) credit cards with 0% Interests. The Xperia Z comes with free prmium case worth Rs. 1,990 and a free snap-on cover worth Rs. 1,490 with the ZL. No details about the applicable phones for the Xperia Xchange offer offer yet. Motorola Moto X event scheduled for August 1st, press shots and specs leak

 Motorola has started sending out invites to the media in the U.S. for the Moto X press event scheduled on August 1st in New York City . The company officially teased the phone earlier this month as the first smartphone that you can design yourself. It also said that Designed by you . Assembled in the USA. Earlier this week Motorola posted a photo of the phone being  assembled in the USA, so the phone may go on sale in the U.S soon after the launch. Even though the specifications of the device was already leaked by the evleaks, The Verge has confirmed that the phone would feature a 4.5 inch display (probably 720p according to earlier leaks), a dual-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon dual-core MSM8960T processor, 2GB of RAM, and a removable Kevlar rear shell. As Android 4.3 has yet to be available, the phone runs a near stock version of Android 4.2.2. The device would also have always-on listening mode which recognizes commands and a Auto HDR mode in the camera. Even though there are no details about the camera, it might feature a 10MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera according earlier leaks.
