Oppo, a chinese smartphone manufacturer known and revered for the Find 5, a smartphone that we immensely loved, is reportedly looking into launching Windows Phone based handsets soon. If the teased renders from the company's own director of social marketing are to be believed, the manufacturer is looking at producing Windows Phone 8 based devices. The Android running Oppo Find 5 has stunning hardware, as noted in our review, and the company had released a very limited red version of it, which you are seeing above. Showing off the Windows Phone UI on the equally minimalistic Oppo Find 5 hardware has gotten us excited. But before jumping into conclusions, be warned that the images are clearly fake, because it has Nokia exclusive apps on its screen, the windows phone shortcuts are clearly photoshopped, and the charging indicator gives it away even more. So now having established that it's fake, you might wonder why you are seeing this in the first. We think one of the reasons might be that Oppo is really working on a Windows Phone device with the Find 5's hardware as the base and are showing off to just generate some buzz on upcoming hardware, or they are ...

Google has rolled out a new design for their Google Play website that brings new card-like UI. This looks similar to the Google Play for Android v4 that was released back in April. The new Play Store redesign for the web was announced at Google I/O back in May. Google says that the new design would make it easier to browse and discover new favorites. The new Play Store is also responsive design that adjusts automatically when you adjust the browser's width. It also shows all the info in a single pane instead of showing dividing it using different panes. This brings a new navigation panel on the left top corner for Apps, Movies, Books and Devices. In a recent tradition to release an infographic before a launch, HTC has done it again, and it's for the One Mini this time. Being rumoured for a long time, and eventually leaking in every possible way, the One Mini is a secret kept even worse than that of its bigger brother, the HTC One. Following this infographic tease of a "smaller is better" tagline, we predict that HTC will be launching the One Mini anytime soon. Here's the infographic that was teased in HTC's own blog - That's cute HTC, but will you please launch the phone already? Here are the specifications of the phone in case you are wondering - HTC One Mini rumored specifications 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display at 342 PPI 1.4 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5.0UI 4MP UltraPixel rear camera with LED Flash 1.6 MP front-facing camera 3.5 mm headset jack, Beats audio support 1 GB RAM, 16GB internal memory 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS 1700 mAh non-removable battery We do hope that the price is on the lower side, considering that a 720p display is not much of a leverage these days. We've been playing with the Micromax Canvas 4 ever since we unboxed it, and if you had noticed our YouTube channel, we have a lot of coverage in terms of gameplay videos, gaming review, and of course the unboxing too. If one important feature that stands out, on the Canvas 4 in comparison with the Canvas HD, it's the camera. There is a new 13 megapixel Sony sensor at the back that promises a substantial upgrade over the Canvas HD. Does it? Lets find out. httpv:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sjti6TL2xHc As mentioned earlier, the Micromax Canvas 4 has a 13 Megapixel Sony made sensor for its camera. The only known 13 MP Sony sensor available for use in smartphones is the Sony Exmor RS that has found its way into several high end devices like the Oppo Find 5, the Lenovo K900 and most importantly, the Samsung Galaxy S4. That said, we do have doubts that Micromax might have changed the lens unit for a cheaper one as the one that comes with the Exmor RS unit is a costly one for sure. Other hardware that comes along with the camera is the single LED flash and the secondary microphone for video recording. Talking of video recording, ...
