The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced at IFA earlier this month and was launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 49,900. We brought you the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 800 version yesterday which is available for LTE markets. This version is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with Adreno 330 GPU. Here are the benchmarks for the Indian version that is powered by a 1.9 GHz Exynos 5420 Octa ( A15 1.9 GHz + A7 1.3 GHz) processor with ARM Mail T628 GPU. The Note 3 packs a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Let’s find out which one is better in various benchmark tests.
Quadrant Benchmark
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3-powered by a Exynos chip managed to score over 20k, but the scores of the Snapdragon 800 version is more than 20.8k.
AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3
The Exynos version beats the Snapdragon version easily in the AnTuTu 3.3 Benchmarks. We also tried the AnTuTu Benchmark 4.0 benchmark and it scored 34610 points, which you can see in the video above.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
The Note 3 managed to score just 2586 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
The Note 3 powered by the Exynos Chip scores few points more than the Snapdragon 800 version and tops the Vellamo 2 Metal Benchmark.
SunSpider Javascript Benchmark
The Note 3 clocks just 617.2 ms and tops the SunSpider JavaScript benchmark.
Linpack Single Thread
Again the Note 3 Exyons version tops the Linpack Single thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
Even though the linpack single thread scores were high, the phone managed to clock around 878 MFLOPS.
NenaMark 2
It managed to clock 60.3 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
In the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex Benchmark, it clocked 23 fps similar to the LG G2.
GFXBench 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)
The GFXBench 2.5 Egypt scores are similar to the Snapdragon 800 version.
Basemark X HD (Onscreen)
The phone managed to clock around 14 fps in the Basemark X Onscreen benchmark, which is less than the other Snapdragon 800-powered devices.
Basemark X HD (Offscreen)
It managed to clock just 12.4 fps in the Basemark X Offscreen benchmark, again less than other Snapdragon 800-powered devices.
