Google+ v4.1 for Android to bring Drive support, improved location sharing and more

Google+ for Android to get a major update to version 4.1 that would bring lot of new features including option to switch between Google+ accounts, Google apps admin support, Google Drive support to store photos and video, better location sharing and more. From this version Messenger support would be removed since Google Hangouts takes care of messaging and video calls. It also brings the most requested pull-to-refresh.

New features in Google+ for Android v4.1

• Account and page switching is a lot easier with a couple of taps instead signing out and signing in again.
• Google Apps for Business features are now fully supported including option to share content publicly, with your circles, and/or with just the people in your organization.
• Google Drive photos & videos are now accessible from Google+
• Location sharing includes more controls that lets you share your pinpoint or city-level location with others (if you want), and you can do so on a circle-by-circle basis.
• Messenger is going away since Hangouts provides messaging and video calls across Android, iOS and the web

Google would also provide option to download all of your Messenger conversations (including text and photos) from Google Takeout later today.

The latest Google+ update would roll out to Google Play over the next few days.
