Motorola announced the Moto G, the company’s latest affordable smartphone. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphones, here we have the benchmark of the device. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. As you can see the CPU-Z shot above, the chip has been under clocked to 1.19GHz. This is the first smartphone to feature this particular chip. The Motorola Moto X was powered by a 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (MSM8960DT) Krait 300 processor with Adreno 320 GPU. It has a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Android 4.4 (KitKat) expected in January 2014.
